The first Certified Kettle Bell Teacher in Indonesia, Khris is the owner of Rebel Gym – Kombat Syndicate Indonesia, the only local gym that involved not only in fitness and body building but also in Sports Conditioning Training and Martial Arts. Since 6 years old he’s been trained on martial arts by his father’s friends and employees, such as Maenpo ( a local combat arts derived from “Pencak Silat”), Muay Thai and Southern Shaolin Ngo Cho Kun (Five Anchestor Kungfu) although later he only keep Muay Thai training until 1993 when he broke his knee during some small local tournament in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Because of that incident, he had to stop work out for about 2 years and of course gained a lot of weight (in 1995 he weight about 286lbs, compare to before accident 156lbs), so he had to start do some work out again, start from scratch he began to lift weight on the gym, and after 1 year he started to concentrate on Power Lifting as well as Body Building and gave up his flexibility and agility. On the year 2000 he created Rebel Gym and also started to learn conditioning training method because he involved in training some athlete outside Body Building or Weight Lifting area, athlete that needs explosive power, endurance, flexibility and agility, while some fitness routine can’t give all they need. In 2008 he discover a kettle bell training and become more interested on it because this work out can gain power, endurance and maintain flexibility as well, after achieved CKT-1 he add Kettle Bell training as one of the conditioning system work out standard for all Rebel Gym Network.
