Stuart Bizzarri is a qualified Advanced Gym Instructor, Health & Exercise for Children Level 2 , Exercise Referral Instructor, Concept II Indoor Rowing Instructor, CKT Level 1, ILM Level 3 in Coaching and a qualified Internal Verifier.
Stuart lives with his wife and two daughters in Kirkcaldy. He has been training and competing in a variety of sports for 34 years and involved in the fitness and leisure industry for 28 years. He started as a lifeguard and fitness Instructor and worked his way up to Gym Coordinator and now manages and consults across multiple sites with both gym staff and personal trainers. Over the years Stuart has worked with world class Powerlifters and Strength Athletes and has trained Bodybuilders to gain national titles. With the ability to combine both endurance and strength based sports and compete in both simultaneously at a high level while achieving records in both he now specialises in strength training and it’s practical application in endurance based programmes.
He has competed in many sports at national and international level and holds multiple national titles and world records both in Indoor Rowing, (European Champion and 4 times British Champion and 2 times Scottish Open Champion still holding records from 1000 metres to full Marathon distance 42197 metres) and Powerlifting, (Scottish Novice and Open Champion, current Masters unequipped deadlift records in the 75kg class). He has been a competitive Bodybuilder and title holder helping others to achieve national titles and has competed in 34 Triathlons up to and including full Ironman distance. He is passionate about sports and competition and helping others to push their limits and enjoys setting himself challenges and systematically working towards them through a combination of intelligent training and planning. He enjoys sharing his years of knowledge with others and reinforces that a holistic approach to training is the best way to ensure long term health. Kettlebells are an important part of his training and he is looking forward to sharing his new found skills and knowledge as a CKT Instructor with his staff and the people of Fife.
