Ross Gilling is the owner and head trainer of The Edge Fitness Center.

Working in the fitness industry since graduating from college in 2002, Ross has gained valuable experience managing gyms and personal training programs in Florida and North Carolina. Originally from Wales (UK) Ross’ sporting background lies primarily in Rugby. Ross has played at an international level, representing Wales from the age of 16 through all four years of college. His focus has now shifted to competing in kettlebell sport competition, and aspires to achieve the rank of Master of Sport.

Ross has an extensive knowledge base within the health and fitness industry, is vastly experienced and has worked with client and athletes of all ages and abilities. In an attempt to maintain a standard of excellence in his chosen field of expertise, Ross has continued his studies and attained professional accreditations throughout his career from the most respected and prestigious fitness organizations (IKFF, NSCA). He specializes in kettlebell training, sport specific strength & conditioning and program design. His future career aspiration is to actively support the IKFF in the teachings and promotion of kettlebell training in the US and around the globe.

Ross has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Sport & Physical Education and a Higher National Diploma in Sport, Health & Fitness Management from The University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC).
