Kurt Weinreich Jr.

Kurt Weinreich is a Certified Master Trainer at 24-Hour Fitness in Denver, Colorado and holds certifications through ACE, ISSA, NASM, NCSF, NESTA, NSCA, and NASN. He is also a state licensed vocational instructor for personal training and a Senior Instructor at the National Personal Training Institute of Colorado. Kurt is also licensed Sports Nutritionist and Licensing Instructor for the National Association of Sports Nutrition. Kurt has several training awards including an Academic Achievement Award from the International Sports and Sciences Association and was chosen to be Fitness Ambassador to work the High Performance Training Center during the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Kurt is also a radio co-host for “Fitness Fridays” on KBPI.
Kurt’s philosophy in training begins with the foundation of the education of all the components needed for obtaining successful results for a lifetime. Once that foundation has been established, then the client will understand the aspects of program design, how to make needed adjustments, and continue that quality of life forever.
Kurt is also a competitive martial artist and self defense instructor. He recently competed with the U.S. National Stickfighting Team and earned a Bronze Medal at the World Championships in Cebu, Philippines. He currently trains in Ninpo Taijutsu, Nishio-Ryu Iaido, and Doce Pares Escrima. He is a level three certified Self-Defense Instructor is also certified in Kung-Fu Fitness and Boxing Fitness Training. Kurt was selected as the Tokyo Joe’s Athlete of the Month for June 2009 and the V.I.P. Gear Athlete of the Month in September 2009.
