About Me: My parents introduced me to dance studies at a young age. I eventually taught various styles of dance before having three children. While dancing I began practising the Iyengar method of Yoga & continued this after dance, during pregnancies & still do today. Through personal challenges ( an unknown longer right leg causing challenges with my back) I furthered my interest in stretching & flexibility in 2006 studying with Internationally renowned Stretching & Flexibility author & teacher Kit Laughlin, who I continue to study with each year. Kits method of working with the body gave me knowledge & practical skills which allowed me to work with my longer leg & I am now free of discomfort. However, my body while flexible & free of pain was not strong, that was until I started training with Kettle Bells. I now look forward to increasing my strength and helping others to build stronger & leaner physiques. I respect & admire Steve’s work ethics & approach to training. My classes are a combination of Kit’s stretching & Steve’s strength training using kettle bells & body weight; I enjoy & welcome individuals of all ages & abilities to attend the classes and work towards achieving their goals.
I have also trained in Stretch Teaching, Stretch Therapy, Naturopathy, Kinesiology & Nutrition and am currently completing training in Nutritional Medicine & Western Herbal Medicine.
