My clients and their individual goals are my top priority. I don’t draw from a collection of recycled workouts, because I don’t recycle clients. What’s most important to you is what will be most important to me, and that’s why I’ll ask so many questions the first time we work together. I believe that the ultimate achievement for any trainer is to gradually work themselves out of a job. Trainers should be teachers, and the best teachers don’t keep students forever, they help them graduate. My priority is to help you achieve your immediate training goals while providing you with a foundation of knowledge and experience that you can apply on your own for the rest of your life. Every client has different objectives and works on a different timeline, but I believe that, if I’m doing my job correctly, most clients will eventually reach a point at which they can confidently take over the reigns of their own training.
My personal interest in athletics and physical culture began when I started rock climbing with my father as a child, and climbing remains one of the central passions in my life to this day. I was first introduced to kettlebells at an indoor rock climbing gym in Boulder, Colorado, and I became seriously involved in kettlebell training during my time as an undergraduate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I believe that kettelbells are one of the most efficient and powerful training tools available for achieving a wide array of fitness goals. I am also highly knowledgeable and passionate about bodyweight strength training. Please e-mail me with any questions or to schedule a consultation.
