Eric Doyle received his personal training certification from the National Council for Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT) in 2004. During his seven years as a personal trainer, he has worked with individuals at a variety of locations, including LA Fitness in Long Beach, where he is the senior trainer and has logged more than 3,000 training sessions.
Eric is known for using every type and piece of exercise equipment possible to make workouts fun, different, and effective, whether the client’s goal is weight loss, strength, speed, or beauty. He mixes kettlebells, bodyweight, plyometrics, Olympic lifting, cardio intervals, core training, basic weightlifting techniques and principles, partner exercises, balance drills, speed work, joint mobility, stretching, and more. His training philosophy is simple: he wants clients to feel they are getting great personal training, as well as a better understanding of how their body works from an anatomical and physiological point of view. To round out his knowledge, he has studied under a dietitian to further understand the importance of the type and timing of the foods that go into the human body as they relate to health and better performance. In addition, he is currently pursuing a degree in Kinesiology.
Eric’s goal is to unite the principles and theories of Kettlebells, Crossfit, and Mixed Martial Arts under one roof in his own studio. He is currently available for workshops and seminars, and he teaches several bootcamps in the Long Beach area.
