Dan grew up playing football, soccer, and wrestling and has always had a passion for strength training. However, after 15 years of focusing on academics and career he found himself overweight and out of shape. In 2010 Dan was introduced to Kettlebell training through CrossFit. Since starting Kettlebell training Dan quit smoking and has lost close to 40 pounds.
Armed with first hand experience in the emotional and physical difficulty involved in overcoming serious challenges such as obesity and smoking, Dan became inspired to help others do the same. He began developing the education and experience needed to train those seeking to reclaim their vitality and maintain long term health and fitness.
