Christopher has been involved in the fitness industry for 23 years. During this time he has accumulated a wealth of experience in varied roles: as an Entrepreneur – having grown, owned and operated his own facility in Toronto, Ontario: Empire Fitness, as a Director Of Strength & Performance for Snap Fitness – Cloverdale, BC, as a Director of a Health Center supervising a team of 16 personal trainers and 8 Group Exercise Instructors, as a Personal Trainer, Group Exercise Instructor, Motivational Speaker, Teacher, Mentor and Author.
Regardless of what he embraces throughout his professional and personal journey two things remain constant: his passion for strength and performance training and his genuine desire to leave those with whom he comes into contact inspired.
This passion for purposeful training can be traced back to humble beginnings when, at the age of 16 (while training for football), Christopher was first introduced to the Sport of Weightlifting and lifts of the clean, jerk and snatch through an Off-Season Strength & Conditioning program for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League. Though these lifts were self- taught for numerous years his love for the sport of Weightlifting remained and lead to Christopher getting his USA Weightlifting Level I Sport Coach accreditation.
To this day Christopher fuses the very best of varied training philosophies and modalities in order to deliver optimal results. By keeping an open mind and employing only the best “tried and true” methods Christopher and his unique approach to principles around programming and periodization facilitate rapid, safe, and replicable results for any client.
A true innovator, Christopher has recently written a comprehensive training manual focused specifically on providing a programming framework to improve performance of Kettlebell Sport Athletes – The Kettlebell Blackbelt ™.
