Bob Budai

Functional Movement Specialist


Bob graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors degree in Physical Education and Exercise Science. He then went on to earn a second Bachelor in Health Science and a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan.

In addition to his formal degrees, Bob has also earned numerous certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, National Strength and Conditioning Association, American Institute of Fitness Educators, Program for Athletic Coaches Education, and the American Council on Exercise.

Bob has been involved in fitness for over 25 years, and has worked as a personal trainer since 1993, helping people of every fitness level, age, and gender achieve their personal fitness goals.

As a physical therapist, Bob works in an orthopedic setting, and has earned board certification as an Orthopedic Specialist.

Bob’s effectiveness as a physical therapist and trainer is complemented by the knowledge and experience he has attained by working with, and learning from, many of the top fitness and rehabilitation professionals in the world; as well as being a competitive athlete in sports including: martial arts (Tang Soo Do black belt, Jiu Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Kendo, “American” Karate), endurance sports (adventure racing, marathon, triathlon, Girevoy/kettlebell sport), volleyball, soccer, basketball, golf, powerlifting, and others.

Additionally, Bob highly advocates education and serves as a lecturer/instructor, writer, and consultant on numerous subjects for different organizations.
